Romeo comes to Benvolio (his cousin) and tells him that he is really sad. He loves a woman who doesn’t love him back. Benvolio’s advice is to find another woman. Romeo is afflicted with sorrows, and don’t think he ever will meet a woman who is more beautiful than the woman he loves. The families Montague and Capulet have always been fighting in some ways. They don’t like each other very much. And at a feast at Juliet’s, both of the families are there…
Juliet is 13 years old, and Paris is going to woo her at a feast he’s going to have for her. Romeo is at the feast too. He wants to find a new woman that is more beautiful than the one who doesn’t love him back… When he discovers Juliet, he admits that she is the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. This feast was going to lead to a marriage between Juliet and Paris, but when Juliet is seeing Romeo she is falling in love with him.
Romeo is having a quarrel with Tybalt (Juliet’s cousin), and before he is leaving, he is kissing Juliet. They both feel terrible and sad because they’re falling in love with an enemy of their family. They can’t meat, and are finding other ways to see each other. Romeo sneaks over the wall into Juliet’s garden and to her window.
Juliet is sending a messenger to Romeo, to find out when and where they are going to meet to get married. Romeo goes to Friar Laurence to get him to marry them. A lot of small quarrels between the servants of the Capulet and the Montague is takes place.
Romeo is answering Juliet’s message, but Friar Laurence is getting them of to be married. Tybalt is challenging Romeo to fight, but Mercutio (Romeo’s best friend) is stepping forward and fights Tybalt. Mercutio dies of a wound, and Tybalt is running away. Romeo feels terrible because he was just watching the fight. He runs after Tybalt and kills him. Juliet’s mother want to get Romeo killed because he killed Tybalt. The Prince exiles Romeo, and he have to leave before the next day. That night Romeo is coming to Juliet to say goodbye. Juliet’s father is promising Paris that Juliet is going to marry him the day after tomorrow. Romeo offers to stay and die, but Juliet is begging him to leave. Juliet’s mother is thinking that Juliet feels sad because of Tybalt’s dead, but she is sad because Romeo is leaving. The mother is telling Juliet that she is going to marry Paris, in a desperate try to make her happy. When she is telling her father that she won’t marry Paris, he is threatens to throw her out of the house if she doesn’t marrying him. Juliet goes to Friar Laurence to get help. If he can’t help her, she is going to kill herself. He gives her drugs that will make everyone think that she is dead, so that she can’t marry Paris. The marriage is getting cancelled when they finds Juliet (apparently) dead in her bed. Friar Laurence is hiding Juliet in a cell. He sends a letter to Romeo, to tell him the truth about Juliet. Romeo is not receiving the letter, but he is receiving some news that tells him that she is dead. He buys poison, and goes to the place where Juliet is lying “dead”.
Paris comes to Juliet’s grave to strew flowers. He promises to visit her grave every night. When he is hearing that someone is coming to the grave he is hiding to see who it is. The one who is coming is Romeo. When Paris is seeing Romeo, he is trying to arrest him. They is starting a fight…Romeo kills Paris, and then he is taking the poison and dies beside of the grave. Friar Laurence is coming, and he finds both of them dead. When Juliet is hearing the bad news about Romeo’s death, she is killing herself with Romeo’s dagger. When the watchmen are finding the dead bodies, they also find Balthasar and Friar Laurence. They two are telling their story to the rest of the people. Montague is promising to build a golden statue of Juliet, and Capulet is promising to build one of Romeo!
