The 47 year old, first time senator from Illinois shattered over more then 200 years of American history, when he on the 20th of January took place in the oval office, appointed as the new president of the united states.

 

Barack Hussein Obama made history, as the first Negro to be elected as a president. On the 5th of November 2008, over a quarter million people crowded together in Grant Park, Chicago, where Obama gave his first speech after the election.

“It’s been a long time coming, but tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America,” where the words he said to the crowd.

 

The 44th president of the united nations of America were in 1961, august the 4th bourn on the island Hawaii(united states) in a town called Honolulu. He were a eager politician already in his young years, he served as the senator from Illinois in a period from 2005, until he resigned after being elected as the president in November 2008. After a close campaign agains Hillary Clinton in the spring 2008, Obama became the major party candidate for president agains McCain.

 

On January the 20th, Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, were inaugurated into the white house, and promised us and the rest of the united states a change, a change that would get the dream of a free democracy and peace throughout the world accomplished.

 

Obama got to the president chair after a flattering election, with 52 percent of the votes; he had 349 electoral votes against McCain’s 173. Obama has now managed to be the most powerful man in the world, and also made to be one of the most powerful men all time, with at least 54 of the 100 seats in the senate, and over 258 of the 435 seats in the House.

 

Barack Obama says in a press conference, “Young and old, rich and poor, Democrat and Republican, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, gay, straight, disabled and not disabled, Americans have sent a message to the world that we have never been just a collection of red states and blue states, we have been and always will be the United States of America.”

 

Obama’s way to convey messages to the people of America are one of the things that made him get where he is to day.

 

At this weary moment, the 21st of January, President Obama and Vice president Joe Biden are participating at the praying service in Washington D.C. as a part of the pleasing to the Whit House.
