”HELP!” Chuckie screamed. “The sky is falling down, the sky is falling down!” I ran out to check what was going on, some white, cold pieces were sprinkling from the sky. It was true, the sky was seriously falling down. I ran into the kitchen to tell mum. ”The sky is falling down.” I screamed to her. But she just laughed and said: “Oh Daniel, that’s just snow!” “Snow? What’s snow?” I asked. After she had told me all about snow I went out to tell Chuckie but he was gone. I finally found him lying scared under mum’s rosebush, he said that it was his secret hide-out, and that the pieces couldn’t hit him if he lay motion-less there. “It’s just snow!” I said. “Didn’t you know that?” “Not really.” He stuttered while crawling out from under the rosebush. “What is snow?” He asked. “Oh Chuckie, it’s just frozen rain.” I said.

When I finally managed to convince Chuckie that the snow couldn’t harm him, mum’s head popped out of the window and told us that dinner was served. After the delicious dinner I went to bed, tomorrow was Christmas and mum told me that it would come sooner if I slept. When I woke up Chuckie was already awake. He was sitting in front of the big, beautiful Christmas-tree looking at all the gifts underneath it. I sat down next to him and I was thinking about what might be inside all those gifts. There was a gift that was much bigger than all the others. I knew I was not allowed to look at the labels, but I just had to see who was getting it.

I went over to check, believe it or not, it was for me, YES! I turned on the TV to see if there was anything I wanted to watch, but all I could think of was the gift. Later Chuckie and I went out to play in the snow. We built a castle, a snowman and a tunnel, but all I was thinking of was the gift. When we came in, dinner was served. It was the best Christmas-dinner I’ve ever tasted and I knew that this was going to be the best Christmas ever.
